The story

…friends and family would frequently complain about their own businesses and their marketing.

The idea for Solutions for Growth began while David Fischer was managing the marketing efforts for a large multinational company – a corporate job.

Friends, family and small business owners would seek him out for advice regarding their businesses. Typically they were suffering from unproductive marketing efforts; spending time and money without much to show.

Marketing was costing them money, it was an expense – It wasn’t making them money!

Because of David’s expertise and experience in marketing that produced revenue, they asked him for his help.

David learned many small businesses don’t have the knowledge, time or resources to develop marketing that results in sales.

Marketing that doesn’t produce results means phones don’t ring, stores are empty and websites do not get visited, let alone transact business.

David saw an opportunity to serve these businesses and to pursue a dream and so, he bailed out on the corporate world and Solutions for Growth – a full service marketing company for small businesses, specializing in results, was started.

In the course of business, David met business owners who were challenged by how to grow their companies. With many marketing options available and the sophistication of digital marketing techniques, David found that business owners often lacked the time, knowledge or desire to take action. And as all business owners know, inaction results in missed sales opportunities.

David has a track record of successfully increasing sales for retailers, non-profits, membership companies, family businesses, luxury apparel manufacturers, Fortune 50 companies and membership organizations, both in Europe and in the United States.

By applying marketing techniques that cover a broad range of disciplines: from store layouts to direct marketing and sales force training, he helps businesses deliver consistent and dependable sales growth.

He has worked on the agency side (Ayer Inc.) the client side (Six Flags Theme Parks) and at boutique marketing and event management firms (MSA Management, Ride5 Group and IB4E Marketing).

He has managed large Enterprise accounts including Citigroup, JC Penney, Ford and AT&T. In addition, Peter has experience working with mid-sized companies: DeBeers, Dunlop Golf Equipment, Fuze Beverages, Overstock.com, Joy Bauer Nutrition, AirTran Airlines and CertaPro Painters.

Rebecca Masson

Director of Marketing Operations

Rebecca Masson brings 15 years of marketing experience to Solutions for Growth. She has managed numerous luxury brand campaigns in the beauty industry and her experience includes senior roles at L’Oreal, Sisley and P&G Prestige.

Rebecca has been specializing in digital projects, including launching e-commerce sites and building website traffic through social media and online partnerships.

Rebecca has managed many print and email direct marketing campaigns, and brings that expertise to bear for Solutions for Growth’s clients.

Tracey Strauss

Marketing Coordinator

Tracey Strauss joins Solutions for Growth with over two decades of direct mail and marketing experience. With deep knowledge of the list rental industry, expertise in list management and experience in account management, Tracey found herself right at home at Solutions for Growth.

Tracey has grown with Solutions for Growth, and over the course of her career has mastered the roles of Database Build Coordinator, Database Accounting Manager and Sales & Marketing Executive at various marketing firms, including Direct Media and Merit Direct. As Marketing Coordinator, Tracey manages many of the email marketing campaigns for our clients.

Nancy brings more than two decades of valuable marketing experience to Solutions for Growth. As a Brand Manager for high profile brands in the food industry, she created marketing programs and implemented campaigns that increased market share at the national level. Nancy manages many of our clients email marketing campaigns.

Nancy’s experience includes strategy development and execution, new product innovation, promotional campaign creation and social media management. Her skill as a multi-channel marketer is a tremendous asset to Solutions for Growth as she skillfully manages client projects. Her award-winning marketing skills are a welcome addition to the SFG online project team.

Marketing Coordinator

Nancy Wilkowski joins Solutions for Growth with over 17 years of website management, digital and print marketing experience. Over the years, she has developed, implemented and maintained websites with over 1,000 pages.

As a content marketing professional, Nancy has deep knowledge of web technologies and works with clients to create custom websites and enhance their current ones. She is an experienced web programmer that specializes in building WordPress sites and works with each client to design and code websites, from layout to function – according to each client’s specifications. Nancy strives and achieves visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation.

Nancy manages many of our client’s websites as well as their successful email marketing campaigns. She uses her many years of technical experience to enhance and grow every client’s marketing platforms and goals.

Jamel Salter

Jamel Salter

Accountant

Jamel Salter has years of bookkeeping and accounting experience and is responsible for Solutions for Growth’s accounting.

His practical experience includes successful tenures at companies across several industries, most recently at a leading technology company, with $12 million in annual revenue.

Jamel holds a degree in Business Management with concentrations in Finance and Management Information Systems. He is currently on track to obtain his Master’s Degree in Accounting, and is a member of the National Association of Certified Public Bookkeepers and the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers.
